Firestorm #87 – VF – 1989 (DC)

VF — Bagged and boarded.

The world grapples with the new Firestorm's true nature — protector or destroyer — in a tense chapter that captures the moral ambiguity Ostrander built into the character's transformation. Tom Mandrake on full art duties brings his signature dark, atmospheric style to the series for the first time.
